It has been crazy around here! Between Carter's Pump It Up birthday party last week, his actual birthday celebration on Friday, Kennedy's Baptism yesterday, writing thank you notes, finding a place for every new toy and gift that the kids got (for which we are so appreciative, thank you!), cleaning house, and just trying to stay on top of things it has been madness. I am looking forward to this week with nothing on my schedule and just hanging with the kids and playing, but Blake's birthday is the 29th so more celebrating to come and then I can I decorate for Fall!
Carter's 3rd birthday was Friday, August 15th. I cannot believe he is 3 years old! He is such a little love bug! He enjoys breakfast very much. He loves fruit, waffles, pancakes, french toast, regular toast, cinnamon toast, English muffins, and so much more! He has never been interested in breakfast meats like sausage or bacon. For lunch it's either turkey lunch meat with cheese, or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or a grilled cheese sandwich. For dinner it is still hard since he dislikes meat and trying new things in general. He loves only cheese pizza, meatballs with pasta, lasagna, or raviolis. He loves yogurt and applesauce for snacks. He still is not really into sweets like cake or cupcakes and he only drinks water or milk. He has never had juice. He tried a Capri Sun at his birthday party and was not into it. I know, totally weird. It's not like Blake and I don't want to give him juice or sweets, he just does not care for them. He does like strawberry ice cream popcorn, and popsicles, though. So everyday we are trying to expand his taste in food and we are still working on potty training without much success. He goes down for 1 nap each day. He usually sleeps from 12:30pm to 4:00pm! He goes to bed each night at 9:00pm. We brush his teeth and he gets 3 stories read to him. He sleeps through the night and wakes up around 7am. He loves to watch Paw Patrol, Dora, Bubble Guppies, Mickey Mouse Club House, Team Umizoomi, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Daniel Tiger. He loves playing Legos, with sea animal creatures, puzzles, playdoh, Paw Patrol dogs, and ABC magnets on his easel. He loves to play outside, visiting with his cousins, and spending time with his grandparents, uncles and aunts. He is wearing a 3T and 4T in clothing, depending on the brand. Carter weighs 31 pounds and is 39 inches tall. Happy Happy Birthday Carter! We love you so very much! Carter your Birthday is one of the happiest days of my life. You made me a mommy for the first time and I love you more than you could ever even imagine.
