Our nephew Yale turned 6 yesterday. I can hardly believe he is 6 years old. It really does seem like yesterday Blake and I were in Monterey getting the phone call from Vance that Ashley was going into labor. We immediately cancelled our plans and rushed to Clovis Community. I stayed at the hospital all night waiting to meet my new nephew. I remember what I was wearing and the whole experience is something I will never forget. I love Yale so very much. He has the biggest heart and lights up the room with his smile. We have a very special bond. I have so many great memories with Yale and I will cherish them always. I love you so much Yale. Happy 6th Birthday. You mean the world to me. I am so blessed to be your auntie and Godmother.
Yale had his birthday party at a dude ranch in Atwater. The kids got to ride horses, play games, roast their own hot dogs and make s'mores. It was great fun! Yee haw!
