On Sunday we baptized Carter at Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Fresno. It was such a special day. We feel so blessed to have a healthy, loving, happy baby. A very special "thank you" to his Godparents, Garrett (Blake's brother) and Ashley (my sister), for their commitment to ensuring that Carter grows up a faithful member of the Catholic Church. Thank you to everyone who came to witness his baptism and join us to celebrate at his reception. We had a wonderful time spending the day with our closest family and friends. It means so much to us that you took time out of your weekend to be part of our son's baptism and watch him become a child of God. A HUGE thank you to Cherie Smittcamp for taking all the pictures for us. I had over 200 photos to go through! I love it! Another HUGE thank you to my mother in law Nikki for making all of the beautiful center pieces for the reception. They looked amazing. A final thank you to Grandpa Steve for rearranging his schedule and flying over 2,000 miles the morning of the ceremony to be there for Carter after the original baptism date was changed.
