Today Brooklyn Nicole Ahlem was baptised at Sacred Heart Church in Turlock. Blake was chosen as Brooklyn's Godfather and we were so excited to go over to the Ahlem house this morning so Blake could help get his little Goddaughter ready for her big day. It was extra special because Brooklyn wore the same dress that her mother, Ashley Ahlem, wore for her baptism. It was a beautiful day spent with family and friends. Thank you Vance and Ashley for sharing this special time in your lives with us. Also, thank you for a wonderful lunch at the Turlock Golf and Country Club. On our drive home, Blake and I were talking about how blessed we are to have such an amazing family, beautiful nieces and nephew, and how lucky we are to have been chosen to be Godparents. We would do anything for these little lovebugs! Thank you Ashley and Vance for allowing us to watch over your children. We will always be there for them.
