DIY Kennedy's Birthday Board

Kennedy is turning 12, so we put together the ultimate birthday surprise board! All you need is a white foam project board, 12 cups, tissue paper, rubber bands, a hot glue gun, stickers, and some fun photos. Arrange the 12 cups on the board to create the number “12” and place a number (1-12) inside each cup. Cover each cup with tissue paper and secure it with a rubber band. Next, label 12 birthday gifts with the numbers 1-12 to match the cups. Then the fun begins! Poke through the tissue paper, reveal the hidden number, and open the matching gift. It’s such a fun and exciting way to count down through birthday presents and makes the celebration even more special. Kennedy absolutely loved it!  Check it out here.

The Cutest 3 Ingredient Easter Appetizer Trader Joes Edition

I’m going to show you the CUTEST (and easiest) Easter appetizer that only needs 3 ingredients and yes, they’re all from Trader Joe’s . All you need: mini orange bell peppers, onion & chive cream cheese, and fresh dill. Slice the peppers in half, fill them with the cream cheese, and top with a little sprig of dill to turn them into the sweetest little “carrots.” That’s it, adorable, festive, and so easy! Now grab your carrot snacks, head to the living room, and cozy up with the fam for an Easter movie night. How to Build the Perfect Pokémon Easter Basket

Come create a Pokémon Easter basket with me for Carter!  Carter has been obsessed with Pokémon ever since he got his very first card pack in kindergarten. His entire room is Pokémon—cards, figurines, you name it! It’s honestly crazy how much we’ve all learned about Pokémon over the years.  He is SO hard to shop for… but I think I finally found some things he’s going to absolutely LOVE!   We picked out a Pokémon magazine (with a card pack inside ), a few Bandai Pokémon figurines to build, a new shirt, and since he’s been obsessed with the Wings of Fire series , I had to include something for his reading time too. Easter Basket Ideas for Tween Girls

I can’t believe Easter is in 11 days!  Every year I love sharing some Easter basket ideas, especially if you have tweens or teens like I do! Here’s what I put in Kennedy’s basket this year… every girl needs a cute little set for those GRWM mornings. She’s also obsessed with Girls Life magazine, so that was a must. This book series is SO adorable and she cannot get enough of this author! Her latest obsession is Roller Rabbit, and I got so lucky finding a few pieces in her size, this yellow outfit, the cutest pajamas, and even playing cards, because we are currently addicted to playing Gin together.  She already has a few of these LA hats and loves them, so I added a pink one to her collection. I hope she always remembers how special I tried to make every holiday and looks back at her Easter baskets with the sweetest memories. Easter Basket Ideas For A 13 Year Old Boy

Let’s build my 13 year old son’s Easter basket. I picked out two magazines he can read during spring break. I found a LEGO set he can build. I got him a new book to read and I actually read this book when I was about his age. I bought several different packs of Pokemon cards. He loves these Pokemon paper theater builds. Let’s build my 10 year old’s Easter basket. I like to fill my kid’s Easter baskets with useful gifts they will use and things they have wanted. She loves Sabrina Carpenter and magazines so I picked up these two magazines she can read during spring break. I found these new water slides for her to wear to the pool. She is obsessed with these graphic novels and this one just got released. Of course I had to add the new viral Stanley. Staying on the butter yellow theme I added this LA baseball cap she can wear by the pool, hair pins, lip balm and nail polish. I hope this gives you some inspiration. Valentine's Day Class Party Ideas

Every year I share fun Valentine's Day class party ideas, so here we go again. Valentine's Day is right around the corner and class parties will be coming up. I remember growing up I loved going to the store, picking out a box of character Valentines, writing my name along with a little note on the back, and handing them out to everyone in my class. I feel like Valentine's Day is now a big production in school. Children do not just hand out little Valentine's Day cards any more. It seems like everyone has a treat to go with their Valentines and the more thought out and cooler the treat the better.
