Stop everything because The Cheetah Girls are officially coming back! Disney Channel and Disney+ have announced a brand new movie, “The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen,” and we could not be more excited! Original stars Raven-Symoné and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton are returning as Galleria and Chanel, and they’ll be joined by a brand new generation of Cheetah Girls filming in South Africa.
The story follows Galleria and Chanel as they travel to Africa with their daughters and friends to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary. Along the way, the girls discover the importance of friendship, protecting the preserve, and stepping into the spotlight as the next generation of Cheetah Girls.
The new cast is incredible, featuring Leah Sava’ Jeffries, Carmen Sanchez, Kaileen Chang, Sophie Lennon, and Kamogelo Ramashala. Plus, fan favorites Sabrina Bryan, Lynn Whitfield, and Lori Alter are returning to their iconic roles.
We are seriously so excited for this! We have had the chance to meet Raven-Symoné and Sabrina Bryan, which is such an iconic moment, and we have also interviewed Leah Sava’ Jeffries and Carmen Sanchez — so getting to watch this next generation shine is going to be extra special.
