Disney's Live-Action Moana Premiere: A Night We'll Never Forget

Last night was one I’ll never forget.  I truly think this is one of my favorite live-action Disney movies so far. Walking into the premiere and seeing so many friends, catching up with familiar faces, making new friends, laughing, hugging, and hearing so many people tell me how happy they were that my Instagram is back… my heart was so full. Thank you to everyone who came up to congratulate me, give me a hug, or tell me how proud you are of Kennedy. Those conversations meant more than you’ll ever know.  See all the fun we had here.  See Moana in theaters this Friday, July 10, 2026

As I watched Moana set sail beyond the reef to follow her dreams for her family, it hit me in a completely different way. She chose courage over comfort. She stepped into the unknown because she believed there was something bigger waiting for her.

That message felt so personal. Moving our family to Southern California was one of the biggest leaps of faith we’ve ever taken. We left what was familiar to chase dreams for Kennedy, Carter, and our family. It was scary, exciting, emotional... and last night reminded me exactly why we did it.

I definitely shed more than a few tears during the movie. It wasn’t just because of the story, it was because I saw pieces of our own journey reflected on that screen.

Some nights become core memories. Last night was one of them.. Mahalo Disney Studios for the invitation and for allowing me to make memories with Kennedy that will last a lifetime.
