Today we visited The Princess Diaries 25th Anniversary: D23 Genovian Pop-Up Experience, and it was practically perfect in every royal way! Check out all the fun we had here.
We got to walk through the actual filming location used as the Genovian Consulate and step into some of our favorite scenes from the movie. We posed in the parlor where Mia first met Queen Clarisse, visited the dining room where the royal dinner took place, checked out the princess lesson rooms, and made our grand entrance into the ballroom where Mia accepted her crown.
There were so many incredible details, including original furnishings from the films and amazing displays from the Walt Disney Archives featuring iconic costumes, tiaras, and props from both Princess Diaries movies. And to top it all off, every guest received a special event credential and the cutest Mia-inspired junk journaling kit!
Today was absolutely magical and such a fun trip down memory lane. Thank you, D23, for creating this unforgettable experience and letting us feel like Genovian royalty for the day! Now excuse us while we go practice our princess wave.
