Summer vacation is just around the corner, which means we're getting closer and closer to the premiere of Descendants: Wicked Wonderland on Disney Channel and Disney+! I thought it would be fun to share a little about the cast and some behind-the-scenes fun. Alexandro stars as Luis Madrigal the son of Luisa Madrigal from Encanto who inherited her signature super strength. With his talent, charisma, and musical theater background, Alexandro brings so much fun and energy to the role. Before joining the Disney world, he attended the University of Michigan where he graduated in 2022 with a BFA in Musical Theater, making him a perfect fit for the exciting music and performances fans love in Descendants.
Brandon Tremblay is a talented young actor who stars as Max Hatter. Fans also may recognize him from Kylie Cantrall’s music video for “See You Tonight,” where he brought so much fun and energy to the screen. Brandon is quickly becoming a rising star, and it is exciting to watch his journey continue in the Disney world.
Leonardo Nam stars as Maddox Hatter. Maddox is also the father of Max Hatter, played by Brandon Tremblay. Leonardo brings so much charm, heart, and creativity to the role, making Maddox a fan favorite in the Descendants universe.
Ryan McEwen is a talented actor and dancer best known for his work on Julie and the Phantoms, where fans loved seeing his incredible dance skills on screen. He will now be joining the Disney world as Squirmy Smee. Ryan brings so much energy and personality to every performance, and fans are excited to see him in this fun new role.
Dayton Paradis is an actor, singer, and dancer who will be playing Squeaky Smee. He began dancing at just eight years old and has built an impressive career as a professional performer across multiple stages and competitions. Dayton has appeared on major reality shows including NBC’s World of Dance and Canada’s Got Talent, showcasing his talent and versatility. He also shares his performances with fans on his Instagram, where his passion for dance and entertainment continues to shine.
Zavien Garrett is a talented actor, singer, rapper, and dancer who continues to build an exciting career in entertainment. He has been cast as Felix Facilier bringing his energy and versatility to the iconic franchise. Zavien has also appeared on television in shows like The Flash, The Good Doctor, and Monster High: The Movie. With so many skills and growing credits, he is definitely a rising star to watch.
Joel Oulette stars as Robbie Hood, the son of Robin Hood. Known for his strong on-screen presence and versatility, Joel brings a fresh and exciting energy to the beloved Descendants universe. Fans are excited to see him take on this new role and add his own spin to the classic story.
Paolo Montalban reprises his role as King Charming in the Descendants universe, returning as Cinderella’s devoted husband and the King of Auradon. Fans were especially excited to see him reunite on screen with Brandy, bringing together the beloved Cinderella and Prince Charming pairing from the iconic 1997 film. His return adds a nostalgic and magical touch that longtime fans truly appreciate.
