Legends aren’t made, they are built! I love LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy. This four-piece animated special reimagines the Star Wars galaxy like never before. It is funny and the cast is outstanding.

In LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, the entire Star Wars galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), unearths a powerful artifact called the Cornerstone from a hidden Jedi temple. He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together.

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy is full of comedy, action and incredible animation. This show is filled with heart, laughter, and the important message of believing in yourself. It is a family friendly special and for fans of LEGO or Star Wars this is a must watch. I could not take my eyes off the screen. The animation and visuals are stunning – I love when the light sabers light up and the flying sequences are awesome. They could not have picked a better cast to voice these characters. It features the vocal work of Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Gaten Matarazzo (Sig Greebling), Bobby Moynihan (Jedi Bob), Tony Revolori (Dev Greebling), Marsai Martin (Yesi Scala), Michael Cusack (Servo), and Ahmed Best (Darth Jar Jar). The writing is so smart and funny. I think this movie will create a whole new generation of LEGO and Star Wars fans because it has something for everyone.

This film teaches you to believe in yourself and to embrace teamwork. I give LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 5 to 18, plus adults. You can watch LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy on Disney+ beginning September 13, 2024.

During D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, the new official trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy was revealed ahead of a special presentation featuring Dan Hernandez (showrunner, writer, executive producer), Benji Samit (showrunner, writer, executive producer), and James Waugh (executive producer and Lucasfilm senior vice president, Franchise Content & Strategy). Content herding nerfs and sharing tales of the Jedi’s heroics with his friends on planet Fenessa, Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), finds his galaxy shaken up after he and his brother Dev (Tony Revolori) find a Jedi Temple and remove the mysterious Cornerstone. Alongside newcomer Jedi Bob (Bobby Moynihan), Luke Skywalker is back, once again voiced by Mark Hamill, but this time he’s got more of a chilled-out surfer dude vibe than the farm boy-turned-Jedi Master we know and love.

In addition to the official trailer, four new parody posters were released continuing the theme of taking Star Wars icons and remixing them in surprising ways. Among the new posters, Jedi Bob stands stoically by his green Lightsaber blade in a nod to the early posters released before Star Wars: The Force Awakens and a light side Darth Vader all in white is surrounded by red in a send-up of early art for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Plus, the shadow of Darth Jar Jar looms over an innocent young Binks on Tatooine in an homage to the teaser poster for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. And the forbidden love of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala explored in the Star Wars: Attack of the Clones teaser art gets a LEGO twist with two new star-crossed lovers: Leia Organa and…Greedo?

Plus, the full cast was announced, with Gaten Matarazzo, Tony Revolori, Marsai Martin, Bobby Moynihan, Michael Cusack, Ahmed Best, and a special guest appearance from Mark Hamill, who is also a consulting producer, joined by Skywalker saga alums Naomi Ackie, Anthony Daniels, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billy Dee Williams. The full cast list also includes Dee Bradley Baker, TC Carson, Trevor Devall, Jake Green, Jennifer Hale, Phil LaMarr, Ross Marquand, Piotr Michael, Kevin Michael Richardson, Helen Sadler, Matt Sloan, Matthew Wood, Sam Witwer, and Shelby Young.

Learn more of Jedi Bob’s wisdom and see how everything gets pieced together when LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy arrives on Disney+ September 13.

Let's DIY a light saber.  All you need is a pool noodle, black, grey and red duct tape and scissors. Cut the pool noodle with a knife to your desired length and start adding the tape to one of the ends. I think pool noodles are the best because they are lightweight and can be used indoors or outdoors.  Watch the tutorial HERE.
