Summer is here! I have a delicious simple meal that everyone will love. One of my go-to weeknight dinners is chicken lettuce wraps with Minute Instant White Rice. It is a family favorite and is so tasty and easy to make. You can even eat it with your hands. The family loves gathering in the kitchen and creating their own lettuce wraps and on warm summer nights we eat outside and enjoy the evening together. There are only a few ingredients, so this meal is on rotation at my house.
I love Minute Instant White Rice because it is ready in five minutes and always comes out perfect and fluffy. It is simply cooked, then dried, with nothing added but convenience, which I love. I love that you can make Minute Instant White Rice on the stove or in the microwave. For the stove, just boil some water, add in the rice, stir, cover and remove from heat. Wait five minutes or until the water is absorbed, then fluff and serve. I promise it really is that easy. The only ingredient is Non-GMO Project Verified rice.
For the chicken lettuce wraps you need chicken, butter lettuce, Minute Instant White Rice, shredded carrots, green onions, and cucumbers. Start by preparing your chicken. You can put the chicken in an air fryer, grill, oven, whatever you prefer. Add a little seasoning or marinade of your choice. While the chicken is cooking, wash and slice your veggies. When the chicken is done, mix and assemble your chicken lettuce wraps. These are so delicious and so easy to make. The entire family will love creating and making their own lettuce wraps for dinner using their favorite toppings and it is a fun way to get the entire family in the kitchen and spending time together.
This meal is a crowd pleaser and is ready in minutes.
