Interview With Robinne Lee The Author of The Idea Of You

Today I had the honor of interviewing Robinne Lee, an actor, writer, producer, mother, and wife. There really is nothing she can't do. This morning we discussed her novel, The Idea Of You, which has now been made into a movie that you can watch May 2 on Prime Video. Robinne is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia Law School and was raised in New York. She has numerous acting credits in both television and film, most notably opposite Will Smith in Hitch and Seven Pounds and she was also in Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed. She lives in LA with her husband and children. The Idea Of You is about Solène, a 40-year-old single mom, begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell, the lead singer of August Moon, the hottest boy band on the planet.  You can pick up the book HERE and watch the movie on Prime Video on May 2.

Based on the acclaimed, contemporary love story of the same name, The Idea of You centers on Solène (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old single mom who begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the lead singer of August Moon, the hottest boy band on the planet. When Solène must step in to chaperone her teenage daughter's trip to the Coachella Music Festival after her ex bails at the last minute, she has a chance encounter with Hayes and there is an instant, undeniable spark. As they begin a whirlwind romance, it isn't long before Hayes' superstar status poses unavoidable challenges to their relationship, and Solène soon discovers that life in the glare of his spotlight might be more than she bargained for.

I loved the film from the beginning to the end.  Anne Hathaway is radiant in this movie.  She is absolutely perfect.  It is about love, family, and a coming of age story.
