The future comes tomorrow! Don't miss Madame Web in theaters Wednesday, February 14. We had the honor of attending the premiere last night in LA and this movie is full of action, mystery, suspense, sisterhood, and girl power. It is perfect for date night or a family movie night. Everyone will love it. The best part is that if you are a fan of Marvel movies, you don't have to see any previous movies to understand Madame Web. This movie stands alone with a phenomenal cast and great story line. It is rated PG-13 and it is 1 hour and 54 minutes. There are also no mid or end credit scenes. Watch our video here of all the fun we had at the premiere!
My children are 12 and 9 and we all loved it. There were a few jump scares, but nothing too scary.
In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing's most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who develops the power to see the future and realizes she can use that insight to change it. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women bound for powerful destinies if they can all survive a deadly present.
We really loved learning who Madame Web is and how she becomes a heroine. We loved all the action scenes and watching the girls come together to fight against the villain Ezekiel. We loved seeing the girls in their costumes and the action was entertaining. They left us wanting more and hoping for a sequel so we can find out how the girls get their powers and what happens next!
The premiere was so much fun. We got to meet some of the cast and they signed our Madame Web comic book. It was a night we will never forget. Thank you Madame Web and Sony Pictures for having us.
