Check out the new Pixar Place Hotel! This hotel is currently being remodeled and will be taking the place of Paradise Pier Hotel. I recently visited in June and here is everything you need to know. It will have amazing designs of Pixar artwork throughout the lobby, elevators and rooms. The lobby is already starting to transform. We do not have an exact date when this hotel will be completed, but I will definitely keep you posted. They are also working on a new Finding Nemo Splash area that will include all our favorite Pixar characters and a water slide. The hotel will have interactive games inspired by Pixar shorts and Great Maple Restaurant will open at Pixar Place Hotel. The restaurant will have both indoor and outdoor seating. DCA:
As you walk over Pixar Pier at Knicks and Knacks you will find a face painting station and lots of Pixar merchandise.
Ride Jessie's Critters Carousel
Ride Toy Story Midway Mania and when you exit the ride you will be in a shop with lots of Toy Story merchandise. Also throughout the day in front of Toy Story Midway Mania you can meet some of your favorite Toy Story characters.
Play some games on Pixar Pier, check out Bullseye Stallion Stampede and other games that have Pixar prizes and more.
If you need a snack, check out Poultry Palace for fried chicken and slaw, Senor Buzz Churros, Angry Dogs for a hotdog and Lamp Light Lounge for a sit down dining experience. There is also Bing Bong's Sweet Stuff for Pixar treats.
Ride Incredicoaster to see the Incredibles if you are feeling the need for speed
Ride Pixar Pal-A-Round for a view of DCA and Pixar Pier
Ride Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind to see Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger and more.
Ride Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley To The Rescue to see if you pass the scream test! This ride is in Hollywood Land.
Head to Cars Land and ride Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, and Radiator Springs Racers. There are several shops with Disney Cars merch and some yummy dining experiences too.
Head to Animation Academy in Hollywood Land and learn to draw a Pixar character. Shows are every 30 minutes. There is also Turtle Talk with Crush inside the Animation Academy.
Disneyland:
In TomorrowLand you can ride Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. When you get off Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters there is a gift shop with lots of Toy Story merchandise.
If you are looking for a fast serve meal, head to Alien Pizza Planet for pizza, pasta and salads. This is so good!
