DISNEY+ ORIGINAL SERIES "THE SANTA CLAUSES” RED CARPET PREMIERE

Seeing isn't believing, believing is seeing!

Sunday night we were honored to be invited to celebrate the world premiere event at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank for the new original series The Santa Clauses.  The Disney+ Original series from Disney Branded Television is produced by 20th Television and will premiere with two episodes on Disney+ on November 16.  It was the most magical night and a great way to kick off the holiday season.

Check out our reel here

The series stars Tim Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell, Kal Penn, Elizabeth Allen-Dick, Austin Kane, Matilda Lawler, Devin Bright, Rupali Redd, Laura San Giacomo and Eric Lloyd, who walked the red carpet at the premiere. Executive producers of “The Santa Clauses” Jack Burditt, Jason Winer, Richard Baker, Kevin Hench and Jon Radler, were also in attendance.

Adding to the holiday spirit, the premiere hosted an on-site toy collection event for the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive, benefitting the Marine Toys for Tots Program.  We were asked to bring a toy to donate to children in need. Kennedy picked out a new Barbie, Carter picked out a Black Panther LEGO set and we also bought 3 board games.  The Disney Ultimate Toy Drive aims to deliver toys, hope, and joy where it’s needed most during the holiday season. The 75-year relationship between Disney and Toys for Tots dates back to the program’s beginnings, when Walt Disney and his studio artists personally designed the Toys for Tots train logo that is still used to this day. Scott Calvin is back! After being Santa Claus for nearly thirty years, he’s as jolly as ever. But as Christmas declines in popularity, so does his Santa magic. Scott struggles to keep up with the demands of the job, as well as being there for his family. Upon discovering there is a way to retire from his post, Scott considers stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so that he can become a better father and husband.

We were able to screen the first two episodes and we loved them.  From the moment it starts and you see Tim Allen as Santa in the red suit it just makes you smile from ear to ear.  I even had to hold back the tears.  I was so emotional in the theater.  I was so grateful to be invited to the premiere, sitting next to my husband and children in a theater on The Walt Disney Studios Lot and watching the new series.  We have watched The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, and The Santa Clause 3 every single holiday season.  It was so magical to be watching the new series before it officially releases on Disney+ next Wednesday, November 16th.  The new series is funny and it will have you falling in love with all the new elves and believing in the magic of Christmas.

Ashlan Rowan plays a security elf

Matilda Lawler plays Betty

Devin Bright plays Noel

Eric Lloyd plays Charlie!

Raven Symone was there and she is always so sweet to my kids.  We have seen her at other events and premieres.  The kids have never missed an episode of Raven's Home and That's So Raven.  They love chatting with her.

Elizabeth Allen Dick plays Sandra.  She plays Tim Allen's daughter in the series and she is really Tim Allen's daughter!

When we came out of the screening the entire Walt Disney Studios Lot was transformed into the North Pole.  There was food, drinks, a hot coca station, Santa and Mrs. Claus, DJ Tessa spinning Christmas jams, a craft station for kids where they could make snow globes, ornaments, stockings, signs, and so much more. There was even a decorative sleigh with reindeer that you could sit in and take photos.  It was seriously the most magical night and such a fun way to kick off the holiday season.

The LEGEND!  Tim Allen!  Santa Claus!  Buzz Lightyear!  Tim The Tool Man Taylor!  Our night was made!

Elizabeth Mitchell plays Mrs. Claus

Austin Kane plays Cal

Kal Penn plays Simon

Isabella Bennett plays Edie

Rupali Redd plays Grace

So many fun festive elves that were so energetic and friendly with the kids and adults.  Loved them all!

The smile on her face did not leave all night.  She loved every single minute!

Thank you so much to Disney+ for having us.  It was a magical night and we made memories that will last a lifetime.

Here are some of the crafts the kids made at the after party!  I love that every year we can look back on these snow globes and signs and remember we made these at The Santa Clauses world premiere!

When we left the event we were given gifts.  We received a scarf, beanie, and mug.  Such fun gifts to remember our magical night.

To get you ready for the premiere let's make reindeer food.  All you need is a jar, oatmeal, red pom pom, brown craft paper, wired ribbon or string, and a hot glue gun.  Click here to watch the tutorial.

You can watch the first two episodes of The Santa Clauses when the series premieres November 16th on Disney+.
