All-New Musical Comedy and Sequel to “Enchanted” starring Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Maya Rudolph, Idina Menzel, and James Marsden debuts today on Disney+. Disenchanted is pure magic. Waiting all these years for a sequel was worth it. There are beautiful songs, amazing performances, and you will fall in love with the characters new and old. Have tissues on hand, because I was smiling and crying throughout the entire movie. It is so emotional and it teaches you that not everyone needs a fairy tale life and memories are the most powerful magic of all and we made the most amazing memories Wednesday night.

It has been more than ten years since Giselle (Adams) and Robert (Dempsey) wed, but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.
Wednesday night we were invited to the Hollywood premiere. It was a night straight out of a fairytale. Kennedy and I had the best time walking the red carpet, meeting the cast, seeing the costumes from the movie, taking tons of photos and the best part was seeing Disenchanted on a big screen at the El Capitan Theater. It is my favorite theater. It is so beautiful and historical. They have a live organ player who plays music before the movie and it is just magical. There is not a bad seat anywhere in the theater and it is a must to see a Disney movie at the El Capitan theater.
To help usher in the holiday season and support Disney’s Ultimate Toy Drive, premiere guests filled Toys for Tots bins located on the blue carpet with new, unwrapped toys, which will help inspire hope where it is needed the most this holiday season. Kennedy donated a Barbie.
