Kennedy and I are ready to show off our sparkle with JoJo Siwa and friends in “The J-Team!” Get ready to follow JoJo as she starts her own totally unique dance team, learning about friendship, perseverance and never letting anyone dim your sparkle! The movie from Paramount Home Entertainment and Nickelodeon Home Entertainment is Available Now on Digital and DVD. “The J-Team” is loosely based on JoJo Siwa’s life and is the story of a young girl who is kicked out of her dance troupe and forced to rediscover what dance and friendship means to her, finding her true “Sparkle” in the process. I love that the movie focuses on girl power, positivity, friendship, and finding your voice. Kennedy and I are hosting a movie watch party at home and what's a movie watch party without some sweet treats!?
Cupcakes
Ingredients:
Store bought cake mix

Instructions:
Follow the directions on the back of the cake mix box to make cupcakes. Once the cupcakes have cooled, add icing and sprinkles to the top.
Cookies
Ingredients:
Store bought sugar cookie box
White cookie icing
Sprinkles
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the back of the sugar cookie box. Once the cookies have cooled, add icing and sprinkles. The star cookies were store bought.
Popcorn
Ingredients:
Popped popcorn
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of Jell-O - whatever colors you want
1 tablespoon white corn syrup
Instructions:
Once your popcorn is cooked, spread it out in an even layer on each cookie sheet using parchment paper. Preheat your oven to 300F.
Using a medium saucepan, place it over medium heat and start combining 3 tablespoons of butter, the cup of sugar, and also adding in the 1 tablespoon white corn syrup and the Jell-O powder. Bring to a boil.
Once everything is added, boil for 3 minutes. Once done, take and pour the candy mixture over the cookie sheet of popcorn and mix.
Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake the popcorn for 10 minutes, make sure you stir it a few times when it's in the oven. Let it cool before handling.
Pretzels with sprinkles
Ingredients:
1 bag of pretzel rods
white chocolate wafers
Sprinkles
Instructions:
In a medium microwave safe bowl, heat the white chocolate wafers in the microwave for 15 seconds, stirring in between until the chocolate is completely melted. Dip each pretzel into the chocolate until it is completely covered. Place the pretzels on parchment paper on a tray. Once you are done dipping all your pretzels in the white chocolate, add sprinkles and place the pretzels in the fridge and allow the chocolate to harden completely before serving.
Rice Krispies Treats

Instructions:
I used store bought Rice Krispies treats, but you could make your own using the instructions on the back of the Rice Krispies cereal box. I placed a lollipop stick in the center of each Rice Krispies treat. I layered them with icing and added sprinkles. This was a simple treat that even the kids can help you prepare.
