I have the most spooktacular news! Halloween Time Returns To Disneyland starting today. Halloween will return in both Disney California parks September 3rd through October 31st and I can't wait. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love dressing up and Halloween time in Disneyland and DCA is my favorite. Not only do I love visiting the parks during Halloween time, but I love going to the special ticketed Halloween event that happens on select nights. We have been going since Carter was born. It is so much fun. Here is all the info you need to know about Halloween time in the parks and the Oogie Boogie Bash happening in DCA.

I can't wait to see characters in costume like Goofy as a skeleton, Donald as a pumpkin, Minnie as a witch, and more. Remember Mickey and friends are in different costumes in Disneyland and DCA so you have to check out both parks to see all the costumes and fun! PLUS if you go to Oogie Boogie Bash Mickey and the gang have special different costumes for at night for the special guests that attend the Oogie Boogie Bash party.

Make sure you get your photo with the giant Mickey pumpkin! This is a must every single year!
Halloween overlay rides include: Haunted Mansion Holiday, Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark, Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween, Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree and don't forget about the Cars in costumes in Cars Land! Cars Land is a must in DCA. They have the best Halloween decorations!
Don't miss Halloween Screams with special projections on weekends. This will take place in Disneyland.
I also can't wait for Downtown Disney District to get in the spirit as well! There will be decorations, seasonal treats and a BRAND NEW Halloween themed pumpkin hunt called Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit!
The Oogie Boogie Bash will begin on September 9th for a select 25 nights. Here is a calendar of what days the after hours Oogie Boogie Bash will be happening and how much the tickets cost. The ticket price changes based on the day of the week. The Oogie Boogie Bash happens in DCA. Click here to see my 2019 blog post from the Oogie Boogie Bash. The Oogie Boogie Bash is from 6pm to 11pm and you can start entering the park at 3pm. There are always treat trails with Disney villians, photo ops, no long lines for rides, Frightfully Fun Parade, Mickey's Trick or Treat Dance Party, Village Grove and more! This special ticketed event is so worth it. We love it.

Plaza De La Familia will take place in DCA September 3rd - November 2nd. This happens by Paradise Gardens where you can celebrate Disney Pixar's CoCo and Dia De Los Muertos. There is fun entertainment and a musical celebration of CoCo that happens almost every hour each day in the afternoon until the evening. I suggest if you want to see the musical celebration of CoCo get there 30 minutes early to get a front row seat. There is a CoCo exhibit, special Mexican food at Paradise Garden Grill, coloring CoCo masks in a craft area, and more. You can even get your photo with Miguel.
This is seriously one of my favorite photos ever! Make sure you visit and get a photo with the Headless Horseman on Buena Vista Street!
