The holidays are approaching and I have the perfect fun, but educational gift every kid will love. It's Osmo! Osmo makes hands-on learning games in which players use objects in the real world to interact with the digital world shown on their iPad or Fire tablets.
Osmo just released two brand new games. They are for ages 6-8 and grades 1 and 2. I love how these two new games are magic themed and we are obsessed! Math is fun and magical and Osmo shows us exactly that with these two new games. Both of these games will help children with math skills using hands-on play. They will be having so much fun playing that learning math will become effortless.
Math Wizard Secrets of The Dragons will teach kids how to use non standard units to measure, a ruler to measure, estimating length and adding lengths. It comes in a teal book, includes a map, instructions, dragon guide book, food pieces, rulers, and so much more. The kids will love feeding dragons, measuring dragons, and naming dragons they will not even realize they are learning math at the same time! This game really focuses on measuring skills.
Math Wizard and The Magical Workshop and focuses on addition and subtraction. Kids will learn counting and place value, comparing numbers and word problems. It comes with a spell book, stickers, mixing mat, counting rods, counting cubes, a map, and so much more! The kids loving brewing potions by adding and subtracting. They even keep track of their potions in their spell book. There are different skill levels so Kennedy can play adding 1 digit numbers and Carter can play adding 2 digit numbers.
More releases in the series are coming in 2021 and I can't wait!
These games are ad-ons, meaning they do NOT come with the base. You need to purchase the Osmo base separately, which is required to play the games.
