I can't believe Carter turned 9 today and started third grade this week! Time is a thief. He is so very smart and is the sweetest boy. He is very into Animal Crossing, Pokemon, and Super Mario Bros. His favorite thing to do for fun is play on his Nintendo Switch. He loves Disney Junior, but has started watching shows on the Disney Channel. His favorite show is Coop and Cami Ask The World. He still loves LEGO and Disneyland. He is the best dancer and loves to sing and we were so excited to celebrate him all day long. Happy Birthday Carter we love you more than you will ever know.
He had very specific requests for his birthday. He wanted cinnamon rolls for breakfast and an Animal Crossing themed birthday. Animal Crossing is a Nintendo Switch game and he is obsessed. He had a busy, but wonderful day. He woke up at 5:30 am excited and ready to start his day (as I write this I am exhausted), by 8am he was receiving his first holy communion since it was canceled earlier this year due to the pandemic. It was rescheduled for this morning. After communion he came home to a fun scavenger hunt to find all 15 of his birthday gifts! We spent the day watching movies and playing with all his new toys. We had lunch at home and cheese pizza for dinner followed by a cake I made. It is exactly what Carter wanted.

I could not find Animal Crossing wrapping paper, so I just bought a package of Animal Crossing stickers and added them on the plain wrapping paper to his gifts. He loved it and wanted to tell us about every character before opening his gifts. You can find the stickers here.
He really is the sweetest brother. He let Kennedy help unwrap all of his presents this morning.
