How To Create A Gallery Wall

Who doesn't love a gallery wall?! It is a beautiful addition to any home. A gallery wall can add depth, make a room more interesting and it tells your family's story. All you have to do is find the perfect wall space, chose the right photos to print, and find the best frames. It really is very simple and since we are all spending more time at home this is the perfect opportunity to revamp the house. Find a wall space, print some photos right online, and order some frames online. Everything will come right to your door and all you have to do is hang them! I am sharing what frames I love, along with measurements and sizes below.

In our hallway we used these white frames. They are a thin white gallery frame size 16x20" matted and I ordered 11x14" photos for the inside of the frames.  I did 5 frames across with 3 rows.  I wanted it to take up our entire wall in the hallway.  It looks amazing.

In our study we used these white frames. They are 8x8" matted white frames. I ordered 8x10" photos for the inside of the frames.  I did 3 frames across and 3 rows.

In our living room we used these wood frames. They are 14x18" matted frames and I ordered 8x10" photos for the inside of the frames.

In our bedroom we have these frames.  The frame size is 22x28" and I ordered 11x14" photos.

In general, Blake measures the entire width of the wall and finds the center then determines how many frames need to go on the wall and he starts in the center and works his way out.  The frames are usually 1-2" apart.  Hopefully this will inspire you to start a gallery wall and revamp the house while staying safe inside.
