It's time to roll around at the speed of sound! SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, debuting early for purchase on Digital Tuesday, March 31 from Paramount Home Entertainment, and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and for rental on demand or disc May 19th. Based on the global blockbuster video game franchise from Sega, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG tells the story of the world’s speediest hedgehog as he embraces his new home on Earth. In this live action adventure comedy, Sonic and his new best friend Tom (James Marsden) team up to defend the planet from the evil genius Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) and his plans for world domination. The family friendly film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.
We loved this movie. It is family friendly. We laughed out loud throughout the entire movie. As a family we are huge Sonic fans. We play Sonic Nintendo Switch games and we were so excited to see this movie. We really loved Jim Carrey in the movie. The movie gives Carrey a chance to do something fresh and exciting with Robotnik! We loved seeing him back on the big screen and meeting him in person was a once in a lifetime experience. We highly recommend this movie and with the three day weekend it is the perfect outing with the family.
