The U.S. pre-order for Disney+ is now LIVE! Disney + is a streaming service like Netflix (but it is going to be way better)! You have two options; you can pay monthly $6.99 or pre-pay for 1 year for $69.99. Click here to pre-order now so you can start streaming November 12th. This will be different from the $12.99 a month Disney+ / Hulu / ESPN bundle which will be available for purchase beginning November 12th. Disney+ is a streaming service straight from Disney to consumer, and services will include Hulu, ESPN+, Hotstar and the upcoming Disney+ service. It includes Disney movies, all 30 seasons of The Simpsons, Pixar and Marvel, Star Wars and even some classics owned by Fox. Disney+ will also be offering a 7-day free trial starting Nov. 12th.
Among the brands expected to show on the stream will be Disney, Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic and Star Wars. Furthermore, the service can be streamed through both TV and mobile devices. Disney+ will also launch "25 original series and 10 original films, documentaries and specials" from storytellers. Disney also said it will include "family-friendly Fox titles like The Sound of Music, The Princess Bride and Malcolm in the Middle" as a way to include 500 films and more than 7,500 TV episodes in its streaming vault. It will be available on a wide selection of mobile and connected TV devices (gaming consoles, streaming media players, smart TVs) at launch.
I am so excited about the High School Musical The Musical Series. It is about students who go to the high school where High School Musical was filmed and decide to do a performance of High School Musical.
Here are a few others that I am so excited about: Lizzie McGuire reboot will be coming to Disney+. Lizzie is now living in the big city and about to turn 30 and she is all grown up now! The new Pixar mini series Forky (this will be a collection of shorts). Monsters At Work, Phineas and Ferb the movie “Candace Against the Universe”, Pixar in Real Life, and Muppets Now Series.
