Christmas is right around the corner. Honestly, October through December are my favorite months of the year. I love decorating and making everyday special for Carter and Kennedy. They love the holidays just as much as I do. I love sitting down with the kids and making a bucket list of everything we should do this holiday season! It is all about family fun, spending time together, and keeping the kids entertained.
1. Decorate for Christmas
This definitely happens right after Thanksgiving, or maybe even a few days before. The kids love helping Blake put up the lights, decorate the tree, or play with the 500 nativities we have.
2. Watch Christmas movies
We usually eat dinner by 5pm, so after dinner the kids have quick showers or baths and we watch a festive Christmas movie and have a popcorn or some other dessert. There are so many movies we love, but How The Grinch Stole Christmas is probably our favorite.
3. Baking cookies
We love to bake cookies and decorate them as a family. It is so much fun to be together in the kitchen laughing and listening to Christmas music.
4. Visit Santa
The kids love visiting Santa. Every time we go to the mall I usually let them see Santa or talk to him. We always take a family picture with Santa each year as well.
5. Wear Christmas clothing all month long
We start wearing Christmas clothing the day after Thanksgiving. Who am I kidding... we have been wearing Christmas pajamas since the day after Halloween! I love dressing the kids up in festive outfits and they love it just as much. One of my favorite places to shop is OshKosh B'Gosh.
